What are the differences between 3D in the theater and 3D televisions for home?

There are two main differences between the 3D technology that is being used today. 3D movies and presentations that are viewed in the movie theater have a much larger screens in which you sit directly in front of. This translates to a pretty standard viewing angle and the ability to use simple passive polarized 3D glasses. Whereas home 3D televisions being smaller and occupy a smaller percentage of the viewers field of vision (FOV) will require special designed active liquid crystal shutter glasses. Since the technology isn’t fully developed it will be some time before the differences are made completely clear.
