trueSpace7.5 Review by Susan Lee for 3dcommune.com
When I was asked to review trueSpace 7.5, Caligari Corporation’s newest version
of their award-winning 3D authoring software, I was interested to see what all
has changed since trueSpace 6.6, my last version. Well, a whole lot has changed!
This is obvious as soon as you launch the program: the interface looks quite
different now, with a new and improved layout, icons, and color scheme. Caligari
have been working hard on overhauling the program, and they have made a lot of
progress. The new tools are available in the Workspace side. However, not all
the tools have been migrated over to this new architecture yet, and those tools
that haven't are available in the Model side. Also, for those who prefer the old
trueSpace 6 layout, that is still available with the click of a button.
